The New York Yankees took Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Saturday, shutting out the Houston Astros in an emphatic 7-0 win at Minute Maid Park. In Game 1, Gleyber Torres, Giancarlo Stanton and Gio Urshela homered for the Yankees. Game 2, however, was not the same story. A battle until the 11th inning, the Astros were victorious after Carlos Correa hit a solo home run to walk off victorious. James Paxton was limited to 12 batters in ALCS Game 2, as the Yankees relied on their bullpen throughout most of the game. However, their offense was unable to keep up which allowed the Astros to eventually prevail.

Interestingly, the team winning ALCS Game 2 has gone on has advanced to the World Series 28 times in 34 series (82 percent) including 19 of the last 21. Game 3 will be a great one in the Bronx for sure.
