In less than 3 months, 32 nations from across the globe will compete in one of the greatest sports tournaments in history 0 the World Cup.  As domestic seasons across the world come to an end, excitement has shifted towards this great international contest.  Here are some of this year’s favorite’s to go all of the way.

Brazil: The form the Brazilian team has taken on after their humiliating semifinals loss to Germany has been remarkable.  Led by the youth and talent of the likes of Neymar, Gabriel Jeus, and Philippe Coutinho, Brazil is a lethal team going forward.  Questions about the defense and the health of Neymar remain, however, Brazil enters the tournament as the team to beat based on qualifying form.

Germany: The defending champions, who knocked out Brazil 7-1 in a devastating fashion at the last tournament, are again among favorites to repeat.  The quality and depth at all positions and strategic play resulted in dominance throughout the qualifiers.  Though questions about the health of star defender Jerome Boateng remain, this high-powered machine will be tough to stop.

Look for these teams to make a statement in Russia this summer!
