Manhasset HS presents… “42nd Street” starring Meagan Lipsman as Peggy Sawyer!

This Thursday through Sunday, Manhasset High School will be proudly presenting “42nd Street”! A musical that will be starring Manhasset high school senior Meagan Lipsman as Peggy Sawyer. Starring alongside her is junior Henry Keogh as Julian Marsh, along with seniors Caitlin Bock and Joey Huber as Dorothy Brock and Billy Lawlor respectively. 

The musical follows a young Peggy Sawyer, a talented musician on her journey to reach her dream of stardom on Broadway! The show consists of dazzling tap dance numbers, enchanting singing, and captivating acting. The show takes place back in 1933’s New York City. 

They have been rehearsing and preparing this show, while working hard and putting in a lot of effort, since it was announced. Through learning songs, dances, and scenes, the whole theater department has been hard at work to deliver a show-stopping performance this weekend. Along with the actors, the crew has been working tirelessly to create a magical set for this show, bringing old broadway back to Manhasset. 

The shows are March 31st, April 1st, and April 2nd at 7:30 pm, and April 3rd at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $20 each. Follow the link to buy tickets beforehand.
